Responsibilities

• Build pages and websites using XHTML, CSS Rails, and Javascript using W3C standards.
• Slice and export graphics from photoshop mockups
• Ensure cross-browser/platform consistency and compatibility.
• Keep abreast of emerging web technologies to optimize the established goals of the websites and web applications.
• Develop landing pages and email as needed.
• Self-manage and project-manage to ensure timely, quality delivery of all projects.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in a web development role, preferably in a marketing-related setting
• Superior written, oral, presentation and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Comfortable and productive in a highly distributed team environment.
• Ability to streamline production processes, prioritize tasks and report back on status of ongoing production activities
• Ability to work within tight deadlines and shift gears quickly
• Enthusiasm, creativity and a desire to work on an innovative team
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Proficiency with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and image optimization.
• Bachelors Degree or equivalent

Desirables

• AJAX
• Rails Web Application Development
• Back-end web programming experience (in shell scripts, perl, etc.)
• A sense of humor
